Getting Started

Finding the right psychiatric care begins with understanding whether our practice is a good fit for your needs.

What Happens Next

Four steps, start to treatment plan

1. Submit an appointment request

Complete our existing online intake request form. Providing information through the form allows our team to understand your general needs and determine appropriate next steps. Submitting a request does not by itself establish a treatment relationship.

2. We review fit and availability

We consider age, state of residence/location during visits, clinical needs, clinician expertise and availability, and relevant insurance or payment considerations.

3. Complete a psychiatric evaluation

If the practice is an appropriate fit, we will provide instructions for scheduling and preparing for the evaluation. The assessment process may differ for adults versus children and adolescents.

See Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or Adult Psychiatry.

4. Develop a treatment plan

Recommendations are individualized and may include medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, behavioral or lifestyle strategies, additional evaluation, laboratory or medical follow-up, or collaboration with existing clinicians.

Urgent or emergency needs

Our online request form and outpatient telepsychiatry services are not designed for emergencies or immediate crisis response. If there is an immediate risk of harm or a medical emergency, seek emergency assistance through appropriate local emergency services.
