ADHD

A clearer understanding. A more focused future.

ADHD affects far more than attention. It can shape organization, time management, impulse control, emotional regulation, performance at school or work, and relationships. For many people, the hardest part is turning intentions into action.

We provide comprehensive ADHD evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. We combine a detailed clinical interview with objective, evidence-based tools such as Creyos cognitive assessments and QbCheck, so diagnosis rests on careful evaluation rather than assumption. Your care plan is always individualized, evidence-based, and managed by a physician with full medical and psychiatric training.

Comprehensive Evaluation Developmental history, symptoms across settings, objective measurements, and a real differential.
Individualized Treatment Plans Built around the person's goals, strengths, and daily demands.
Medication Management Prescribed thoughtfully when appropriate, with benefits and side effects tracked by objective measures and your experience.
Skills & Strategy Support Practical behavioral and executive-function approaches.
Is an Evaluation Right for You?

Common reasons people seek an ADHD evaluation

An evaluation may be helpful if you or your child are experiencing:

  • Persistent difficulty with attention, organization, or follow-through
  • Academic or occupational problems despite strong ability
  • Emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, or difficulty managing time
  • Questions about a previous ADHD diagnosis
  • Incomplete benefit or troublesome side effects from prior treatment
  • Coexisting concerns such as anxiety, mood changes, learning differences, or executive functioning challenges
Not sure if this fits? You don’t need to have a diagnosis to reach out. We can help you determine the best next step.

Our Approach: 01

Getting the Diagnosis Right First

A thorough ADHD evaluation looks at the whole picture. We review your developmental history, how symptoms present at home, at school, and at work, and how they affect daily functioning. When helpful, we also draw on prior records and input from family members, teachers, or others who know you well. We also incorporate evidence-based testing to obtain objective information.

Just as important, we consider other conditions that can look like ADHD or make it harder to identify, including anxiety, depression, sleep problems, learning differences, autism, substance use, and medical conditions. Sorting these out is what allows treatment to target the right problem.

More than a prescription

When medication is appropriate, we work with you to find an effective, well-tolerated approach. We track benefits and side effects, using objective measures such as Creyos and QbCheck testing to confirm it’s working. Treatment can also include practical behavioral and executive-function strategies, with coordination among your therapists, coaches, schools, and primary care clinicians.

Medication, when appropriate Chosen collaboratively, with benefits and adverse effects monitored over time.
Executive-function strategies Practical behavioral approaches for organization, planning, and follow-through.
Coordination of care With therapists, coaches, schools, or primary care clinicians.
Wondering whether ADHD actually explains what you’re experiencing? Start with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation rather than assuming the diagnosis.
Request an Evaluation

A diagnosis worth evaluating carefully — not a prescription transaction.

Evaluation comes first, at every age. Treatment follows from what the evaluation actually finds.

Across the Lifespan

ADHD looks different at every age

ADHD in Children & Adolescents

For younger patients, assessment considers developmental expectations, family and school context, learning, behavior, sleep, and co-occurring emotional or neurodevelopmental concerns. When appropriate, families and schools can play an important role in monitoring treatment response.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

ADHD in Adults

Some adults reach high levels of achievement through intense effort, structure, or compensation before ADHD becomes apparent. Changes in workload, family responsibilities, training, or career demands can expose difficulties that were previously manageable.

Adult Psychiatry

For physicians, attorneys, executives, and academics, ADHD often intersects with performance expectations and professional identity.

High-Stakes Professionals
Not sure whether your child’s difficulties are ADHD, anxiety, mood, development, or something else? That’s exactly what an evaluation is designed to clarify.

Scope of Care

What we do and don't provide

Psychiatric assessment and formal neuropsychological or psychoeducational testing are not the same service. When comprehensive testing is needed beyond the scope of our practice, we can recommend appropriate external evaluation.
